This weekend, you’ll notice a variety of announcements inviting you to get involved in different ministries within our pastorate; these opportunities include becoming a catechist, lector, sacristan, Eucharistic adorer, choir member, or joining the Knights of Columbus.

As we enter the fall, it's the perfect time to consider how you might want to contribute to the life of our pastorate. Many of our ministries are actively seeking new members and strengthening their teams to continue their impactful evangelizing efforts.

Stella Maris Children’s Choir
Pastorate children are invited to join the newly created Stella Maris Children’s Choir! This ensemble is open to ages Kindergarten-8th grade, and will rotate between the three buildings, starting with St. Patrick’s on Oct. 8. Rehearsal will be at 8am in the parish center before 9am Mass. Respond here to participate.

Adult Choir
Our pastorate choirs lead the congregation in music for the celebration of Holy Mass. Our various groups require the time and talent of many people including instrumentalists and singers. New members are always welcome, no need to be a professional musician. Rehearsals are held weekly. For details visit pastorate26.com/choir

Catechists
We need catechists for Wednesday Night Discipleship Formation for our 3 year old to 5th graders! Contact Marnie if you are interested.

Overnight Adoration at IHM
Please sign up to spend an hour with our Lord. 8pm Wed. Sept 25 - 8am Thurs. Sept. 26.

Eucharistic Adorers
There are openings to sign up to adore the Lord weekly at Mary Morning Star Chapel, sign up here.

Become a Lector or Sacristan
We need lectors and sacristans for all Masses at all churches. Lectors assist at Mass by proclaiming the Old Testament and New Testament readings. This is a great opportunity to dive deeper into sacred scripture and assist at Sunday Mass. Sacristans assist the priests and deacons by preparing the vessels and materials needed for Mass. This is a small task and a great responsibility for families with middle school and older children to complete together. If you are interested in one of these ministries, save the date for one of the training sessions or contact Michael Mills at [email protected].

These training sessions are to prepare ministers for all three churches. Please come even if the training session is not held at the church where you regularly attend.

Lectors: Monday, 9/23 from 6-7pm at STP

Sacristans: Tuesday, 9/24 from 6-7pm at IHM

Knights of Columbus
Our Lady of the Green Scapular Council is hosting their membership drive at IHM this weekend after Holy Mass.

Mass Intentions
Mass intentions can be requested for a person who is living or deceased, for a celebration, in thanksgiving, as well as special intentions. Contact Sue or submit online.

The churches within our pastorate prepare and serve meals at the Luke House. Food donations and volunteers to serve the food are needed. CTK: Sept 17 & 30, SP: Sept 18, IHM: Sept 25.

Rosary Rallies for Religious Freedom
CTK outdoor Marian Garden, Thursdays, Sept 19 - Oct 31, 6-7pm. Bring a chair. Dress appropriately for the weather. More info here, or contact Julie, 715-862-2523.

Fall Women’s Faith Formation
Women of Stella Maris pastorate please join us for a Endow study “The Science of Love” about the life of St. Therese of Lisieux. We will meet Tuesday mornings from 9:30-11am in the basement conference room at IHM. The study will begin Oct. 1 and continue for 8 weeks. Details here. Questions: contact Mary Sullivan.

Mass of Hope and Healing with Bishop Hying
Sunday, Oct. 6 at 1pm at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. For anyone grieving the loss of children through miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, abortion, stillbirth, or infant death. Questions? Contact Mary

Whole Hearted Trauma Awareness Workshop
Whole Hearted provides information about trauma and helps you privately reflect on your own experience. Join on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 1-5pm at CTK. It is a free parish-based trauma awareness program for ALL adults. It is part of the US Bishops October Catholic Mental Health Campaign. Details here.
