Forgiveness in the Family: A Spiritual Day of Renewal Wednesday, October 9, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm St. Thomas Aquinas Parish (602 Everglade Dr., Madison)
You won’t want to miss this Spiritual Day of Renewal featuring Dr. Robert Enright speaking on “Forgiveness in the Family.”
This event will be hosted by the Madison Catholic Woman’s Club and the Madison Diocesan Council of Catholic Women. All women are invited to attend.
Dr. Enright is a professor of Educational Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a leading researcher on the power of forgiveness. He pioneered the scientific study of forgiveness, which now has over 1,000 researchers worldwide.
Dr. Enright is a recipient of multiple awards, including the Madison Catholic Woman’s Club’s annual Christian Achievement Award this year. He is published widely and remains a gifted teacher on campus. His appearances on radio and television span decades.
His current research involves cultural influences, especially in places where generational conflict is present, such as Northern Ireland and the Philippines. Additionally, his areas of interest include developing early interventions in youth, bullying victims, women experiencing violence as well as group forgiveness.
The day will begin at 9:00 a.m. with check-in and refreshments with the program starting at 9:30 a.m. and concluding at 11:00 a.m. Mass is at 11:30 a.m. followed by lunch.
