The faithful of the diocese are invited to join a group visiting the American Black Holocaust Museum (ABHM) on Saturday, March 29, to learn more about racism in our country and how Catholics can respond to it.
A bus will depart to Milwaukee from St. Dennis Church, 413 Dempsey Rd., Madison, and another bus from Our Lady of Assumption, 2222 Shopiere Rd, 8 a.m. and will return to both locations by 5 p.m.
The day features a talk by Bishop Donald J. Hying on the pastoral letter of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) on racism titled “Open Wide our Hearts.” He will also lead the Overcoming Racism Stations of the Cross at the nearby All Saints Catholic Church following a tour of the museum. Lunch will be served.
The trip will cost $50 (check or credit card) and will include transportation from Madison or Beloit by coach bus, museum admission, and lunch. When registering, choose departure location. The deadline for registration is March 17. Pay via credit card at https://pushpay.com/g/stdennismadison
