Dear Parents, Happy New Year! I hope that your holidays were relaxing and fun. We are looking forward to a new year and all the possibilities that it will bring. Saturday is the feast of the Epiphany, or the Feast of the Three Kings. The story explains how the Magi searched for Jesus and made this search their top priority. Jesus calls us to always search for Him. May we find Jesus in all those we know and meet and the experiences that we will have this year. We need your help! Please fill out this survey by Friday, Jan. 19, 2024: https://forms.gle/3Afv8ebHt5K3PT4E7 (English) https://forms.gle/bWXyVBQQF6VYHjeQA (Spanish) Your responses help determine the amount of Title 1 funding available to IHM School. That means we get money to provide services to our students! It is very important, and we can use your help! Your family name and information will be kept confidential at our school, only a summary of the data collected is provided to MMSD where it is utilized for calculating the Title I allocation for services. Please join us tonight, 1/3 , for our Wednesday Formation Night Potluck Dinner at St. Patrick at 6pm. Dinner will be served by our This Man is You group. Do you have a student who you want to start at IHM next fall, a sibling of a current student, a kiddo starting in 3K or 4K or Kindergarten, or maybe a friend? Priority Applications for the 24-25 school year for new students who are parishioners of Pastorate 26 or siblings of current students will be accepted starting next week!
For ALL current students, ECE through grade 7, re-enrollment is assumed unless you let the office know that you do not plan to re-enroll - applications are not necessary for current students! Please spread the news to anyone you know who may be interested in IHM School. Parents are our best advertising! Don't forget to have new families mention that you referred them and collect your $250 referral credit! Please share the Open House and ECE flyers that are linked below with interested families! More information about applications will be coming in next week's Eagle Express. If you have a child that will be in the Early Childhood, 4K, Kindergarten or Middle School next year, you may be interested in our Open House on Sunday, Jan. 28th! Look for a flyer and more information in the Eagle Express next week. It is a great way to learn about the programs, and to get your questions answered. Please share that date if you know of a family that is thinking of IHM for the Fall! Peace & Blessings,
Callie Meiller, Principal
