IHM School begins its 2024-25 school year next Wednesday! The IHM School Prayer Partners program invites you to help cover IHM School with prayer each and every day of the school year. As a Prayer Partner, you agree to dedicate 15 minutes--just 1% of your day--one to two weekdays per month to pray for the safety, health, and mission of IHM School, and its students, staff, and families. Your participation in this ministry helps protect, support, and strengthen our Stella Maris pastorate's school community to live out its mission of forming children as disciples...and hopefully one day, saints! We are very blessed that after being on break for the summer, our Saturday morning ‘That Man is You!’ (TMIY) men’s group is starting back up! That Man is You!, in its 10th season, is a nationally renowned program incorporating Scripture, Church teachings, science, and contemporary insights to help men on their spiritual journey as they navigate the struggles of the real world.

Last year anywhere between 30-50 men showed up regularly on Saturday mornings at Christ the King to share in fellowship, receive some great Catholic teaching, and engage in small group discussions. Many of them have testified to how fruitful the group has been in helping them grow as disciples, husbands, fathers and how it has helped them connect with other men throughout the pastorate on a deeper level. Wherever you are in your spiritual journey, and your stage in life, this program and the brotherhood that awaits you, can make a real difference for you and your family. Register online.

New Hymnals for IHM & STP
Since the end of the pandemic there has been a need for a new music resource for IHM & STP. After a period of searching, the music team selected the St. Michael Hymnal 5th Edition to be that resource! Read more about the new hymnal and FAQs HERE. Share your Love of the Lord with our Youth
Are you enthusiastic and faithful? If so, we need YOU! As we prepare for this next year of Wednesday Discipleship Formation Nights, we are in need of classroom leaders and helpers for our 3yr old to 5th graders along with helpers for our High School group. This opportunity to give of yourself and share the faith will connect you to the present and future of the Church. Discipleship Formation

SVdP Needs Your Help
IHM SVdP conference needs your financial support to assist our neighbors in need with rent and utility expenses. We have been visiting our neighbors and doing home visits weekly trying to address their needs. However, our funds are extremely low. Recently, we were unable to help a Monona resident with a $ 300 water utility bill requiring us to apply for funds from a SVdP District Special Fund. In the past your generosity enabled us to make a difference in the lives of our less fortunate neighbors. We hope you will consider a donation to replenish our assistance abilities. Fall Women’s Faith Formation
Women of Stella Maris pastorate please join us for a Endow study “The Science of Love” about the life of St. Therese of Lisieux. We will meet Tuesday mornings from 9:30-11am in the basement conference room at IHM. The study will begin October 1 and continue for 8 weeks. Details here. Questions: contact Mary Sullivan. Children’s Adoration
Children's Adoration will begin in Sept. and occur on the first and third Wednesdays of the month from 3-3:30pm. Meet in the foyer prior. The Sisters of Mary Morning Star will lead. Children need to be accompanied by a parent. Contact: Avarie Roser

All are invited to the Stella Maris Pastorate Picnic on Aug 25 at St. Patrick. Activities will begin after the 9am Mass with food being served around 11am by the Knights of Columbus. The pig roast will also include side dishes, soda, adult beverages and ice cream. DJ Musical Memories will provide games & activities for all ages until 3pm. A great way to end the summer! Day in the Life
Join the Sisters of Mary Morning Star, Aug 24, 9:15am - 4pm to learn more about the prayerful life of being a religious sister. Registration is limited to the first 25 girls, age 12-18. Lunch provided. Donation of $10 gratefully accepted. Details here.
